The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement website is not being updated and may not reflect current conditions due to the partial federal government shutdown.
On-line computer systems or applications maintained or operated by the Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement, including the Coal Fee Collection Management System, the Applicant Violator System (AVS), e-AMLIS, Technical Information and Professional Services (TIPS), and the National Mine Map Repository are inaccessible during the shutdown.
Should you have an event that you believe qualifies as an "excepted" activity, that necessitates the use of one of these services, please call the appropriate OSMRE Regional Director from the list below.
