Special JGIM Supplement: VA Research on Women's Health

Women are the fastest growing segment of eligible VA health care users and have their own unique health care needs. In 2006, The Journal of General Internal Medicine published a special supplement on VA research on women's health. Articles included present information on the health and healthcare delivery issues affecting women veterans, and highlight VA organizational changes to improve access to and quality of VA women's health care.

Many HSR&D investigators contributed articles to this important Supplement, including Donna Washington, MD, MPH , and Elizabeth Yano, PhD, MSPH, who also served as guest editors. An online subscription or single article purchase is required to access this article.
