The more words you speak, sing or read to your baby, the faster your baby will learn to talk and read.
The evidence is mounting and the call to action couldn’t be clearer – we need to talk more to our babies. A new collaborative between the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH), the Marcus Autism Center, and the Georgia Children’s Cabinet along with First Lady Mrs. Sandra Deal, and a variety of other partners, intends to encourage parents and guardians to talk more with their babies.
Called Talk With Me Baby, the initiative is in development now with a clear goal: encourage increased language development.
