Analyze Data

Public-use Data Analysis System (PDAS)

PDAS is the online analysis tool for SAMHDA studies. This tool allows users to review study variables, run crosstab analyses, perform logistic regressions, and download the results of any analysis to CSV format.

Restricted-use Data Analysis System (RDAS)

RDAS is a user-friendly application for online analyses to create and output crosstabs and perform logistic regression from your web browser. RDAS allows users to analyze restricted data, which includes certain geographic identifiers, like state, while suppressing results that may present disclosure risks. Only NSDUH data are currently available. With RDAS, you can see values by state, using datasets from 2002 to 2016. You will have access to the same visualizations as PDAS, in addition to crosstabs.

Interactive NSDUH State Estimates

Interactive NSDUH State Estimates (or Small Area Estimates (SAES)) allows users to review historic NSDUH Small Area Estimates, create US maps and trend graphs, and download data in CSV format.
