Property that is seized by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service through asset forfeiture is noticed publicly online at Forfeiture.gov. These notices provide individuals who feel they have an ownership interest in a property aware that they can file a claim or file a petition for remission or mitigation. Property that is seized or recovered during the course of investigations or found abandoned are noticed publically under the tab “LEGAL NOTICES” found at the bottom of the Home tab on this site.
