Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia (ADRD) State Registry

In 2014, the Georgia Legislature established the Alzheimer’s Disease Registry within the Department of Public Health. The purpose of the registry is: 1) to collect and disseminate usable data to inform programs and services for the aging population, 2) identify epidemiological trends, 3) bring awareness at the state level to issues that affect healthy aging, and 4) inform stakeholders for planning and for future registry needs.
