USDA Reestablishing Secretary's Advisory Committee on Animal Health

Summary:

The United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is reestablishing the Secretary's Advisory Committee on Animal Health.  This federal advisory committee provides the Secretary of Agriculture with input and feedback about ways to prevent, conduct surveillance on, monitor, control, or eradicate animal diseases of national importance.  The previous charter expired at the end of the last committee's term and a new charter is needed.  Learn more here.
