Nevada Veteran Memorials

Nevada Department of Veterans Services hosts this page as a tribute to the Nevada Veterans Memorials found across the great State of Nevada.

Among the more notable (and known) memorials NDVS will begin featuring here are:

Nevada State Veterans Memorial, Grant Sawyer Grounds, Las Vegas

The Nevada State Veterans Memorial, Las Vegas serves as a reminder to all that we will forever honor the heroism and spirit of those who have and will serve in our Nation’s military. Now constructed, the memorial is located on the grounds of the Grant Sawyer State Building, just north of downtown Las Vegas.

Memorial to the Fallen, Carson Capital Grounds, Carson City

The construction of the Memorial to the Fallen was authorized, through SB 230, in the 78th Legislative Session. Since then, many people have come together, and a Request for Qualification was released, inviting artists to submit their resumes for consideration.

(Note: the deadline to submit the RFQ has passed.)
