SECDEF Commends Vietnam Veterans

℠2015 – Secretary of Defense Ash Carter spoke at a congressional ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War at Emancipation Hall in Washington, D.C., July 8. Secretary Carter addressed leaders and members from both the House and the Senate and credited Vietnam veterans with helping the nation recognize and learn the lessons that divisive war taught.
