Our Organization

BSEE is structured in a manner that allows workers to operate in units best matched to their mission. The bureau is headed by an appointed director who oversees a staff of more than 850 federal employees. National policy is set by BSEE’s six divisions and implementation of policies is achieved through the regional offices. The organizational chart above provides a snapshot of BSEE’s overall structure, which is supported by a number of focused programs, sections, research entities, and district offices.
