The Current Employment Statistics (CES) program is a federal and state cooperative program that surveys about 147,000 businesses and government agencies, representing approximately 634,000 individual worksites, in order to provide detailed industry data on employment, hours, and earnings of workers on nonfarm payrolls for all 50 States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and about 450 metropolitan areas and divisions.
The Labor Market Information (LMI) Division at Oklahoma Employment Security Commission (OESC) provides these estimates for the State of Oklahoma and its four metropolitan statistical areas (MSA).
