Transportation Advisory Committee

The advisory committee shall meet at least quarterly to review issues and complaints concerning the Medicaid Transportation Brokerage System and shall make recommendations for the resolution of these issues and complaints.

South Carolina Long term Care Partnership Agent Training Guidelines

To sell Long Term Care Partnership policies in South Carolina, insurance producers must successfully complete training that had been approved by the South Carolina Department of Insurance. The training must include basic information about South Carolina Healthy Connections Medicaid eligibility as it relates to the Long Term Care Partnership Program.

Medical Care Advisory Committee

The Medical Care Advisory Committee (MCAC) of the South Carolina Department of Health & Human Services advises the Department of Health and Human Services about health and medical care services and provides consultation to the agency regarding marketing policies required of Medicaid Managed Care Organizations. 

Medicaid Coordinated Care Improvement Group

The purpose of this Group is to examine the current Medicaid coordinated care system to determine what is working and not working and develop policies that improve health outcomes, cost efficiency, and patient and provider satisfaction. We will also analyze best practices in Medicaid managed care and Medicaid agencies nationwide.
