More than 200 years ago, the first Presidential cabinet department, the Department of Foreign Affairs, was established by the Congress. Later, the name was changed to the Department of State. To highlight the work of the U.S. Department of State and other Federal agencies in the area of international affairs, the U.S. Government Printing Office offers for sale a special collection of publications designed for those interested in finding success in the inter-governmental relations and foreign policy.
