At-Risk Species Finder
The At-Risk Species Finder (Finder) is an online tool that allows U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) biologists and private citizens to track the Service’s progress on at-risk species conservation. The Finder allows users to create custom database queries based on a number of attributes including state range, current status, taxonomic group, lead Service office, and lead geographic region. Data.gov
Data.gov is the home of the U.S. Government’s open data where you will find tools and resources to conduct research, develop web and mobile applications, design data visualizations, and more. Several Service data management systems including the Service Catalog are designed to automatically publish publicly available datasets to data.gov including conservation plans, geospatial datasets, and more. Environmental Conservation Online System (ECOS)
ECOS is a gateway web site that provides access to data systems in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) and other government data sources. This central point of access assists Service personnel in managing data and information, and it provides public access to information from numerous Service databases. ECOS produces a variety of reports related to the List of Threatened and Endangered Species. Human dimensions portal
The Human Dimensions Portal was created for U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service employees by the Human Dimension Branch of the National Wildlife Refuge System. The portal provides convenient access to human dimensions tools and resources applicable to your conservation work. It also encourages a community of practice for conservation practitioners through a blog and conversation forum; upcoming events; news and announcements; and a directory of social science experts in the Service.
