On June 24, 2014, the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government issued its report recommending a FY 2015 Service Service System budget of $23 million. This amount is unchanged from the FY 2014 enacted level. On July 2, 2014, the House of Representatives issued Report 113-508, which recommended an appropriation of $21.5 million. This amount is $1.4 million below the FY 2014 enacted and requested levels. The Selective Service System's FY 2015 estimate reflects the higher (Senate) recommendations.
