Hello everyone, I’m Cecil, been a nurse for many years. I started my nursing journey in Chicago in 1992, Emergency nursing is my forte.

I eventually, started travel nursing in 2000 taking assignments at different hospitals in different States. Having worked with various healthcare systems and different health professionals - enhanced my nursing and personal skills, taught me how to be in tune and work with different people, bosses, physicians, colleague. After travel nursing for almost 6 years, I finally became an ER Staff at a local Los Angeles private hospital/healthcare system which closed 3 years after my employment due to financial struggle in mid-2008. Shortly after, my career started at VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System in April 2009.

VA is the place to be not only because of stability, unique patient population (it’s the only place where you can serve the one who served), but also offers strong career growth/opportunities for employees.

Responding to a Job Announcement

The vast majority of positions require an online application with the exception of a few healthcare occupations therefore it is important to fully complete the online application process after which you should receive a system-generated confirmation via email.
