Subtitle D of 2002 Farm Bill Amended Language
The Farm Bill COOL provision was amended by Sec. 208 of the 2002 Supplemental
Appropriations Act (P.L. 107-206).
SEC. 208. Section 282(a)(2)(D) of the Agricultural Marketing
Act of 1946 is amended to read as follows:
‘‘(D) in the case of wild fish, is—
‘‘(i) harvested in the United States, a territory of the United States, or a State, or by a vessel that
is documented under chapter 121 of title 46, United States Code, or registered in the United States; and
‘‘(ii) processed in the United States, a territory of the United States, or a State, including the waters thereof, or aboard a vessel that is documented under chapter 121 of title 46, United States Code, or registered in the United States; and’’.
