National Runaway Prevention Month Shines a Light on a Continuing Crisis

National Runaway Prevention Month (NRPM), November 1-30 each year, is the annual campaign for bringing awareness to the issues faced by runaway and homeless youth. The theme for NRPM 2018 was “Shine a Light,” and it provided several opportunities for organizations, communities, and individuals to get involved by shining a light on the runaway and homeless youth crisis and educating the public about the role they play in ending youth homelessness. FYSB highlighted NRPM events throughout the month with opportunities to be involved and helpful resources.
