NCEA previously funded the Clearinghouse on Abuse and Neglect of the Elderly (CANE) at the University of Delaware Center for Community Research and Service to index published literature relating to elder abuse and develop annotated bibliographies on specific topics. The CANE database includes references and abstracts to almost 8,000 journal articles, scholarly papers, and other data sources.
