Nikki Hatch is the Regional Administrator for the Administration for Children and Families, Region 8, which serves Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming. In this capacity, Ms. Hatch partners with state, local, community based organizations, and tribes within the Region to promote economic and social well-being of children, families, individuals and communities in the region.

Prior to joining ACF, Ms. Hatch was the Deputy Executive Director of Operations with the Colorado Department of Human Services. As Chief of Staff, she was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Department. The Offices and Divisions under her purview are the Office of Administrative Solutions, the Office of Performance and Strategic Outcomes, three Regional Centers, four Colorado Veterans Community Living Centers, the Division of Youth Corrections, and two Mental Health Institutes.

Ms. Hatch's professional background includes being appointed the first Director of Performance and Quality Assurance with the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families, serving in the Wisconsin State Budget Office, and working for the City of Oakland under then Mayor Jerry Brown’s administration serving the Oakland Police Department as the Chief of Research & Planning and Crime Analysis.

Ms. Hatch received her BA in Sociology from Macalester College and her Masters in Public Policy from the University of California at Berkeley,
