SED Monthly Performance Reports

On this page you will find the CPUC’s Safety and Enforcement Division’s (SED) monthly report on safety metrics and program activity updates. The CPUC’s Safety ActionPlan and Regulatory Strategy document from February 2015 directed SED to provide monthly reporting to the CPUC’s Executive Director on a set of basic metrics from currently available data (e.g., number of incident investigations open and closed).  Since then, these reports have expanded to provide a comprehensive summary of enforcement and support activities for SED’s major branches and sections, along with useful tables to track key metrics and investigations.  

Starting in January 2016, the CPUC makes these monthly updates publicly available, in an effort to improve performance reporting in keeping with the Safety Action Plan and Management Strategy’s Action Item No. 1:
