Ken Hartmann - Director, Data Breach Response Service

Since December 2010, Ken Hartmann serves as the Director of the Data Breach Response Service (DBRS), where he oversees and directs the handling of all Privacy and Security related incidents that are entered into the Privacy and Security Events Tracking System (PSETS) on a national level. Ken servers as the Chairperson for the National Data Breach Core Team (DBCT) Ken has been with the VA since 1984 and has over 30 years of experience in the Information Technology field in both Government and Private Industry. Ken is a former US Navy Submarine Veteran and also a service connected disabled Veteran.
