Rabbits

Two rabbits (copyright IStock).Rabbits are raised for meat, Angora wool, breeding stock, and sometimes, for laboratory use. They also are raised for their skin or hide. Youth programs raise and use rabbits in projects and curricula. According to the 2012 Census of Agriculture (NASS), more than 5,000 farms sold almost 853,000 rabbits nationally.
