Purpose and Function of Collaborations

To further enhance its mission of preventing suicides among Veterans, the VISN 2 Center of Excellence for Suicide Prevention collaborates with both VA- and non-VA entities in order to leverage its resources and expertise with those of like-minded organizations. These collaborative partnerships result in broader based research, education, and dissemination activities that ultimately benefit Veterans by enhancing suicide prevention in both VA and and communities at large. For a detailed description of CoE collaborative partnerships, please follow the link in the Partners Tab above.
