Advanced Psychology Fellowship Program in Suicide Prevention General Overview:
Funded by the VA Office of Academic Affiliations (OAA), the two fellowship programs offered by the Rocky Mountain Mental Illness Research, Education and Clinical Center (MIRECC) reside at MIRECC centers in Denver and Salt Lake City. The program focus for each program is suicide prevention.
The Denver site is fully accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) Commission of Accreditation (CoA), with the next site visit scheduled for 2020. As one of 26 sites for the VA Advanced Fellowship Program in Mental Illness Research & Treatment, the Rocky Mountain MIRECC Fellowship program offers a unique, dynamic opportunity for professional and personal growth.
