Welcome to the participants' corner of the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS) Web site. MEPS is a nationwide study of health care use and expenditures conducted by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Both sponsors are part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

You can make a valuable contribution to the understanding of our nation's healthcare system. The information you provide will help to understand how Americans use healthcare services and how much they cost. By taking part in MEPS, you'll be helping the people who make decisions about healthcare in the United States and in your state to understand what you, your neighbors, and Americans across the country need.

We thank you for your participation!

Sincerely,
Gopal Khanna, MBA
