Needle/Syringe Use

People who inject drugs, hormones or steroids, or silicone can get or transmit HIV by sharing needles or syringes and other injection equipment because they may have someone else's blood in them.

HIV could be transmitted when needles or syringes are shared for piercings and tattoos.
