The Federal Trade Commission is a dynamic and mission-driven agency, regularly listed as one of the best places to work in the federal government. The agency has been in the top five best places to work in the government since 2012.

This year, the Federal Trade Commission is ranked the number one place to work among 27 mid-size federal government agencies by the non-profit, non-partisan Partnership for Public Service, based on the FTC’s high ratings for employee engagement. The FTC also ranks #1 in several Best Places to Work categories, including effective leadership, strategic management, innovation, performance based rewards and advancement and employee skills-mission match.

Additionally, the agency’s Bureau of Consumer Protection (BCP) and the Bureau of Competition (BC) ranked third and fourth among a total of 415 subcomponents across all federal agencies.

The 2018 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) was conducted at the FTC from May 2, 2018 through June 13, 2018 in accordance with the Federal requirement to complete an annual employee survey. Please review the FTC’s 2018 FEVS results here.
