In Fall 2016, the Indiana Commission for Women (ICW) will be offering Preparing the Next Generation Girls Leadership Forum, a one-day workshop focusing on personal, social, and community leadership. The Girls Leadership Forum targets high-potential high school girls and/or young women entering college for the first time who have demonstrated their desire to become leaders. Held in three locations, each Forum is open to forty (40) girls who want to learn more about leadership and civic engagement. The three regional workshops in Evansville, Indianapolis, and Fort Wayne will lead up to a statewide Girls Leadership Forum in Indianapolis in 2017.

Sponsorships

Sponsorships are available to provide participation scholarships for the Girls Leadership Forum. Our intent is to help high-potential girls who may not be exposed to opportunities that encourage them to become civically engaged or that inspire them to pursue public leadership. Our goal is to provide registrations free-of-charge to the girls participating in a Girls Leadership Forum in their community. For more information about sponsorships, click here.
