Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) has automated the selection of rental units for Proactive Inspections. Customers will be contacted by the Proactive Inspection Program to register an apartment complex(es) and pay Proactive Inspection Fees online. The Proactive Inspection Program is designed to ensure all rental units in the District of Columbia meet all residential property maintenance and building codes. Please view the monthly Proactive Inspection Schedules to view a list of properties selected for inspection each month.
