VISN 1 New England MIRECC Education
The Education Core serves a vital function within the VISN 1 New England MIRECC. The MIRECC supports and sponsors local and regional conferences and workshops as well as grand rounds and other educational programming related to improving treatments and access to health care services for Veterans dually diagnosed with mental health and addiction issues. In addition, we make available resources that we have developed for health care professionals and Veterans with dual diagnosis issues, including training manuals, videos, and PowerPoint presentations. Further information about our available education products can be found in the topic areas listed below.
