Curriculum
In response to the recent revision and implementation of the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS), DECAL initiated a curriculum review
for Georgia’s Pre-K Program and Georgia’s birth to five early learning programs. The purpose of the Georgia curriculum review and approval process is to
identify curriculum models that best support Georgia’s early learning programs and are optimally aligned with the Georgia Early Learning and Development
Standards (GELDS). The process resulted in an approved curriculum list for Georgia’s Pre-K Programs. A recommended curriculum list for Georgia’s birth to
five early learning programs is coming soon.
In the document list below, DECAL has included one-page summaries of all approved curriculum. These summaries should be used as a resource as providers make
decisions regarding curriculum.
If you are a state-funded Georgia Pre-K Program and you would like to change your curriculum, fill out the Curriculum Change Form in the document list below.
It is also Appendix G of the Pre-K Operating Guidelines. Then, give the form to your Pre-K consultant and they will initiate the change process in PANDA.
