The Office of Budget Administration (OBA) provides a continuum of support to all divisions and offices of the Department of Human Services (DHS) via service provisions that are carried out through the following major significant activities and services:
- Meets with DHS Leadership and helps set funding priorities for addressing major budgetary, legislative, policy and administrative issues for the upcoming fiscal year;
- Establishes an Annual Operating Budget for funds detailed in the appropriation act;
- Provides broad-based analysis of issues, policies and programs relevant to the department;
- Coordinates and distributes budgetary control reports to DHS administrators and managers to improve their effectiveness in the management of department funds.
