Federal Holiday and Mail for Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018
President Trump declared Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, to be a Federal holiday. As a result, USPS did not deliver mail on that day. DWD was unable to prevent producing documents with a mail date of Dec. 5. Some of the documents have specific appeal, protest or response timeframes associated with them. For these documents, DWD will consider the mail date to be Thursday, Dec. 6. For questions or concerns regarding this issue, please call 1-800-891-6499.
