About VA CFOI
As stated in the mission and vision of the Center for Faith and Opportunity Initiative, the Center will provide to our internal and external partners, and stakeholders with an opportunity to collaborate with us to support and service the needs of :
- Veterans, their families, Survivors and Caregivers
- Establish and cultivate partnerships with faith-based and community organizations
- In collaboration with internal and external partners, participate in outreach events
- Provide relevant resources to faith-based and community organizations in order to service the needs of our Veterans.
The VA CFOI will cultivate and develop relationships with faith-based, nonprofit, and community/neighborhood organizations, working with them as partners to serve Veterans, their families, caregivers, Survivors and other beneficiaries.
VA CFOI will educate, engage, and inform faith-based, nonprofit, and community/neighborhood organizations about issues facing Veterans and the benefits, programs, and services VA provides.
Through VA CFOI outreach efforts, opportunities will be provided for external partners to expand their understanding of and participation in VA programs.
