This photo album shows a variety of food distribution models and nutrition education activities at Spirit Lake Sioux Tribe in North Dakota. Spirit Lake FDPIR features a grocery store concept where clients can select the items in their monthly food packages and also offers home delivery. Nutrition education activities include classes and cooking demos for children, youth, and adults.

FDPIR Photo Album: Chickasaw, Choctaw, and Cherokee Nations

This photo album shows a variety of food distribution models and nutrition education activities offered by three Indian Tribal Organizations in Oklahoma. Chickasaw Nation in Purcell, OK, conducts a healthy eating class at a local Head Start program and features a grocery store model where clients can select the items in their monthly food packages. Choctaw Nation in McAlester, OK, conducts a food demo for blue cornmeal tamales and also features a grocery store model. Cherokee Nation in Porum, OK, conducts a pumpkin smoothie demo and taste test during a mobile food distribution.
