Disability Employment Mentoring Day

Disability Employment Mentoring Day is held during National Disability Employment Awareness Month in October.

This special day provides students an opportunity to underscore the connection between school and work, evaluate personal goals, target career skills for improvement, explore possible career paths, and develop lasting mentor relationships. The event is hosted by the American Association of People with Disabilities in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy.

This resource page provides information and links for coordinating events in your organization.

To learn more about becoming a disability employment mentor, contact the program manager.
