Information for Students
VA uses the services of various organizations to identify students from diverse
backgrounds for our internship program. Students interested in participating in
the NDIP should apply with one of the vendor organizations listed below. To be accepted
into the NDIP, students must be in good standing; currently enrolled in an undergraduate
or graduate degree seeking program, full-time or part-time from an accredited post-secondary
institution; and be a U.S. citizen (a lawful permanent resident or otherwise legally
eligible to work in the United States per FAR Part 22.18).
Students selected to participate in the NDIP will receive bi-weekly stipend
payments from the selecting vendor, and if needed, transportation to the
internship site, and housing arranged at the internship location. Student application
deadlines are set by participating vendors. Please visit the websites above for additional information.
