    (BOISE, ID), November, 13, 2018 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) Acting State Executive Director Brian Dansel reminds Idaho producers who experienced losses from natural disasters during the 2017 and 2018 calendar years that they may be eligible for assistance through the Tree Assistance Program (TAP), Emergency Assistance for Livestock, Honeybees and Farm-Raised Fish Program (ELAP) and Livestock Indemnity Program (LIP).

    BOISE, ID, Nov. 05, 2018 – Idaho Farm Service Agency (FSA) Acting State Executive Director Brian Dansel today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will begin mailing ballots to eligible agricultural producers for the 2018 FSA county committee elections on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018. Producers must return ballots to their local FSA offices by Dec. 3, 2018, to ensure their vote is counted.

    (BOISE, ID), November 01, 2018 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Idaho Farm Service Agency (FSA) Acting State Executive Director Brian Dansel reminds producers that FSA offers farm ownership and farm operating loans to underserved applicants as well as beginning farmers and ranchers. Underserved or beginning farmers and ranchers who cannot obtain commercial credit from a bank can apply for FSA direct or guaranteed loans.
