Communications interns will have the opportunity to compile daily press clips, draft press releases, create social media content, conduct research for speeches, and assist with press conferences. If time allows, greeting visitors, answering phones, and giving Capitol tours are also part of the internship. If you are interested in the communications internship, please indicate this on your application; all other applicants will be considered for the legislative program.

A limited number of stipends are provided to interns based on financial need. The stipend is intended only for those students who could not otherwise afford to live and work in Washington, D.C.
