We all have a responsibility to ensure that laws protecting animals from abuse and cruelty are enforced. I strongly oppose attempts to weaken protections for endangered species or to undermine existing laws and regulations that require humane treatment of animals.

H.R. 2494, the Global Anti-Poaching Act, takes critical steps to strengthen the punishments for poaching and wildlife tracking.
