Training a Future President
Memories of training future President Lyndon Baines Johnson as a House doorkeeper during the 1930s.
This Page fraternity pin was owned by a 1930s Page, and given to him by a Page from decades before. The National Fraternity of Pages predates the founding of the Page school in 1931, but was part of the general move toward formalizing the Page program. The former owner of the pin speculated that the “1912” on either side of the shield may indicate the founding date of the organization.
