Benefits Determination With ESD

The Economic Services Division (ESD) regularly recruits Benefits Programs Specialists.

They determine the eligibility of applicants for a wide range of public benefits including 3SquaresVT, Fuel Assistance and Reach Up.


What qualifications does a BPS have to have?

  • Considerable communication skills to work with applicants and recipients
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to understand and interpret policies and procedures
