This funding will help the Hebrew Home conduct research on dementia and other neurological disorders impacting our communities most senior residents.

Congressman Eliot Engel's office intervened with plans by the Post Office to end staggered reporting times for mail carriers at the Kingsbridge Branch this week. Since the start of the pandemic, letter carriers have been ordered to report to work at staggered times in order to reduce the amount of workers in a single place at a single time and maintain social distancing. But carriers were told earlier this week that everyone had to report to the office at 8:30am, a stunning reversal following a rash of COVID-19 cases by post office workers just weeks prior.
