Prepare for a visit: Everyone entering our facilities is screened, and visitors are limited. Face coverings are mandatory. Please contact us first before going to any of our locations. For some needs, you may be able to get care at home by phone or video.

VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System is excited to provide COVID-19 Moderna vaccine to actively enrolled Veterans at VA. We are following VA Prioritization Tier Levels and are currently vaccinating Tier 1 candidates. We expect to start scheduling Tier 2 candidates as early as next week. We will contact you once it is your turn.

At VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, safety is more than a checklist; it’s part of our culture and the foundation of everything we do. We want you to feel confident knowing your safety and well-being remain our number one priority.
- Enter through the Main entrance or Specialty Clinic for routine care.
- Enter through the Emergency Department for emergent care.
- Everyone entering is screened for COVID-19 symptoms, including health care team members.You may use the VA Digital COVID-19 Screening tool by texting "Screen" to 53079.
- Everyone is required to wear a face mask orcovering at all times.
- Veterans may bring one family member or caregiver with them to an appointment.
- Children 2+ years old must wear a face covering. Children must always stay with the adult.
- Inpatient visitation is currently on pause.
- All patient care rooms, common areas and high-touch surfaces in the medical center arefrequently sanitized and disinfected.
- Please use available hand sanitizers andwash hands frequently.
- Practice physical distancing throughout our facilities. Observe signs, floor markers and spaced seating in waiting areas.
- No food or drink allowed in waiting areas.
