Health Care Systems Reporting
The Health Department collects and uses a wide variety of data to inform Vermonters about their health and health care system. We serve as an important source of information for policy analysis, health care shortage area designations, and recruiting and retaining health care workers. We provide information and data relating to procedures and services received across different hospital settings, and incidence and prevalence of acute and chronic conditions and diseases. We also offer information on hospital performance on quality of care and patient safety measures, healthcare-acquired infection rates, and other hospital characteristics.
