Product Standards and Classifications
The CDPH regulations specify standards for cannabis products, including restrictions on the types of products can be sold and the types of ingredients that may be included (Ā§40300-40308). In addition, the regulations specify product classifications for cannabis products (Ā§40100), which affect the THC limits, packaging and labeling, and more. The three main product classifications are:
- Edible Cannabis Product
- Cannabis Concentrate
- Topical Cannabis Product
