Operations-Management memoranda are issued to the field offices from the Division of Operations-Management of the General Counsel’s Office in Washington to give direction in case handling matters.

General Counsel memoranda are issued to field offices and/or Washington offices by the General Counsel to provide policy guidance.

Advice Memos

Advice memoranda issue guidance to regional offices directing dismissal of charges or issuance of complaints.

Agency Court Filings

After the Board issues a decision and final order in a contested unfair labor practice case, any person aggrieved may seek review of the final order, and the Board may seek enforcement of its order, in an appropriate United States Court of Appeals. The General Counsel represents the Board in the Court of Appeals.
