December 2020
- 12/10/2020 - Quarterly data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for hospitals, nursing facilities, and other facilities has been updated (data as of September 30, 2020). This data is available in the Map Gallery, Map Tool, Reports, Data Explorer, and Quick Maps.
November 2020
- 11/12/2020 - The 2019-2020 Area Health Resource Files (AHRF) are now available. The AHRF is released annually by the Bureau of Health Workforce. The AHRF release year corresponds to the fiscal year (October 1 to September 30) the data was published. In each release, the data source years included vary based on data availability and data use agreements.
- 11/12/2020 - Annual data from the AHEC-Area Health Education Centers has been updated (data as of September 30, 2019). This data is available in the Map Tool, Health Sites Dashboard and Area Health Education Centers Directory Report.
October 2020
- 10/30/2020 - A new dashboard titled Health Center COVID-19 Survey Operational Capacity has been released on data.hrsa.gov. It provides the most recent health center data as related to weekly COVID-19 testing capacity, virtual visits, temporary site closures, and staff unable to work due to COVID-19.
- 10/29/2020 - An updated Bureau of Health Workforce Field Strength Dashboard has been released. It displays the field strength of NHSC programs as of 09/30/2019 and 09/30/2020.
- 10/16/2020 - An update to the Congressional data is released. This data is available in the Data Explorer, Data by Geography, and HRSA Fact Sheets.
September 2020
- 09/26/2020 - The redesigned Area Health Resources Files (AHRF) tool is released. This interactive tool allows users to easily visualize clinician and population rate by state or county.
- 09/17/2020 - An update to the Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA) and the Rural Areas data is released. This data is available in the Data Explorer, Map Gallery, Map Tool, Quick Maps, Rural Health Grants Eligibility by Address Analyzer, and Rural Health Grants Eligibility by State/County Analyzer.
- 09/03/2020 - The Bureau of Health Workforce Field Strength Dashboards are now available.
