DHS waives all co-pays, premiums, and contributions during emergency declaration

Simply put, Iowa Medicaid has three main coverage groups: Most Iowa Medicaid members are enrolled in the IA Health Link managed care program. This program gives you health coverage through a Managed Care Organization (MCO) that you get to choose. Some Medicaid members will get health coverage through the Medicaid Fee-for-Service program. The Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) will continue to be offered through the Healthy and Well Kids in Iowa program, also known as Hawki.
